Position Title: Litigation Technology Specialist
Home Office: Downtown Los Angeles
Reports to: Chief Information Officer
FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Description: This position will provide litigation technology support to case teams and serve as an interface between attorneys, paralegals and other firm support groups. Additionally, this position will work as an on-site technology representative supporting the users in the Los Angeles office. Candidates must possess strong Microsoft Office skills and be able to manipulate large data sets in Excel and Access databases. Candidates must provide clear and concise technical communication about problems and solutions. This position is located in Los Angeles, California.
Provide technology based litigation support
Provide first/second level support on the helpdesk on a daily basis
Provides on-call support and problem resolution for computer applications
Become and remain knowledgeable in the Firm's end user technology
Provide desktop and laptop software and hardware support
Conduct technology orientation and training for new users
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills: The successful candidate must be able to pass criminal background checks and must be willing to travel occasionally. The Candidate should have:
Experience working with applications in a Legal Firm
Excellent communication skills and patience working with users.
Ability to record, track, correspond and document resolution of user problems.
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts, both verbally and in writing.
Exposure to litigation tools like iPro Eclipse, iPro Allegro, Summation, Concordance, Trial Director, Sanction, Case Map Suite and Relativity
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
Physical effort is required. Specifically tasks such as moving computers, connecting computer cables and lifting computer related equipment.
Limited exposure to physical risk.
