About Us: BIS Computer Solutions, Inc, an established software company (45+years) seeks a full time Network Administrator whose primary responsibility is to manage the existing network while providing support to customers when needed.

Location: La Crescenta, CA
Experience Required: 3 + years
Reliable Transportation Required: Yes
Work Load: Minimum of 40 hours per week

Knowledge and hands on experience is highly recommended with installation, configuration, diagnostics, performance, backup and ongoing maintenance of all PC's and servers for internal users and end users. The network administrator is responsible for administrating internal ASP/Hosted servers as needed as well as client computers. This position requires knowledge on a wide range of computer related services and technical support. We promote solid long-term relationships with our clients and among our internal staff. The ability to manage ourselves and our commitments so that we consistently meet and exceed our customer's expectations is a top priority. Our company provides emergency technical support 24x7, therefore availability and response time is critical. You must have reliable transportation. The majority of travel is within the greater Los Angeles area; however some installations and deployments do requite travel out of state and may last a few days or up to a week.

Additional Responsibilities:
Providing network services support at mid to advanced levels
Responsible for resolving client business network problems through research, network installation and customization, network administration, and network management support
Responsible for implementing and maintaining all aspects of the network infrastructure (i.e. cabling- racking/LAN/WAN/WLAN/VoIP/VPN/Network Security/Firewall)
Exchange Server setup administration and configuration
Familiar with MAC, PC Support, and Blackberry BES Server, iPhone and Android
Provide on-call operational level support for all aspects of the network (which may be during off-hours and/or weekends)
Provide onsite support visits if and when needed
