The Banquet Bartender will serve beverages to the guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner. To prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests, and act as cashier for events requiring a cash bar.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar for events.
Responsible for maintaining stock, preparing and storing of all garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
Greets guests in courteous and friendly manner.
Promotes and documents orders for drinks.
Processes all payments for beverage purchases and ensures accuracy of said payments in order to balance all monies.
Locks up and stores all beverage, food, and other equipment items.
Deposits cash drops and secures bank.
Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to Health Department regulations.
Must be aware of and adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Required Skills and Requisites
Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate.
Service orientation. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic knowledge of beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
High School Diploma required.
