The dish and general utility position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and other food contact surfaces. Through machine and manual cleaning methods, you are responsible for maintained a clean , safe, and sanitary facility .
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read labels on chemicals.
Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
Ability to reach overhead and clean all kitchen areas of the food truck
Ability to work in a food truck or catering environment during inclement weather and for an entire shift
Ability to walk and stands during entire shift.
Ability to lift and carry racks or stacks of dishes, glassware and other utensils, weighing up to 50 lbs., up to 50 times per shift.
Ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without 'giving out' or fatiguing.
Lift and empty trashcans weighing up to 70 lbs., with assistance, up to two times per shift.
Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing and lifting.
Work indoors 90%; outdoors 10%.
Work in a hot, damp environment under constrictive time frame.
Hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts from broken glass and metal cans, burns, slipping and tripping.
Frequent washing of hands.
