We are Methodology ( - a fun, exciting, fast growth, innovative food + tech + nutrition meal delivery start-up and we are currently hiring for a highly motivated, passionate Executive Sous Chef with a strong vision. In this role you would be reporting to our Corporate Executive Chef.

Methodology plans, cooks and delivers nutritious and beautifully prepared meals for our customers who want to eat clean and healthy in their everyday lives. We are a fast-growth top tier VC-funded start-up and can provide a high ceiling for career advancement for the right motivated individual. The right candidate will be considered for an Executive Chef role in the future as we grow and expand.

- Ensure high performance and demonstrate a strong artistic culinary flair. Food-focused, with attention to factors of health, taste, presentation, plating prepared ready-to-eat meals.
- Keep all kitchen spaces to the highest level of cleanliness in accordance with local health codes
- Create and maintain purveyor relationships
- Schedule all back of house staff and adhere to all payroll policies
- Recruit and train hourly and salaried employees
- Oversee our snack line
- Lead new hires through training
- Create and maintain purveyor relationships
- Maintain a focus on bringing in the best possible quality products
- Oversee and perform ordering, inventory and budgeting

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have experience with scaling recipes
- Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Think creatively with the paramount goal of customer satisfaction
- Display leadership and thrive in a high volume kitchen
- Demonstrate solid cooking skills and techniques
- Multi-task in a systems-driven environment

- Able to lift at least 50 lbs and walk, stand, bend or twist body throughout shift.

- Some nights and weekends are required

- Commitment to providing uncompromised quality - making sure every ingredient that leaves our kitchen is to the highest standard.

- At least three years experience preferred with a packaged meals, catering, hotel, resort a plus.
- Fine dining experience preferred, knowledge and use of seasonal ingredients a must.
- Highly motivated professionals who are detail oriented and committed to utmost quality are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with banquets, catering, or food production facility a plus!
