At Harbor Computer Services we specialize in being the IT department for small businesses. Our clients range from 2 - 100 users. They have 1-8 servers. Some have multiple locations. We'll take on anyone with fewer than 100 computers. As the IT department we are responsible for anything with a power button. We are also responsible for leading the technical direction at the company. Our clients look to us to guide them in making technology decisions that will help them best the competition and reach their corporate goals. In this position you will be responsible for everything that happens at a specific set of clients. Of course we work together as a team but in the main, you will be performing a wide variety of tasks answering the helpdesk, installing new servers, ordering equipment, managing the network and meeting with management. This job requires a wide variety of skills and every day you will learn something new. You must be mature enough to set your own schedule and take responsibility for these networks as if those businesses are your own.
You should possess these skills:
Management and Repair of Windows OS: 7, 8 and 10.
Maintenance and Administration of Windows Server: 2008, 2008 R2, 2012 and 2012 R2
Installation and configuration of above PC's and Servers
Experience with Azure and Office 365 a plus
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Excellent customer relationship skills
Ability to communicate professionally in writing and verbal
Experience with Hyper-V, Exchange, SharePoint, Terminal Services
