We are working with a great educational nonprofit on their need for an Administrative Assistant. This role is ideal for someone with 3 years or more of experience as an administrative assistant or a development assistant.The client is looking for someone who is a real go getter, someone who will ask for work, someone who is eager to learn about the nonprofit environment.
This position will support the President of a medium size, local nonprofit. The person will handle scheduling, all correspondences with donors and board members, meeting arrangements, all the tasks that you would typically see in an administrative or executive assistant role.
The client is looking for someone who can start in the next 2 weeks and work on a temporary basis while a perm search is conducted. The candidate we place will be viewed as a candidate for the perm role as well.
The right candidate should have excellent writing and editing skills, a degree in English would be helpful or have some technical writing experience.
The person will be an assistant to the President if you do not have any experience supporting a Director or a Senior level staff member this would not be the right role for you.
