POSITION: Office Manager
START DATE: August 20th, 2015
TIME FRAME: 8-12 weeks
HOURS: 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday
LOCATION: Manhattan, 192nd street, east side
Front Office Management
Maintain a professional, welcoming, accommodating main office environment for parents, staff, students, and visitors
Answer phones. Redirect inquiries as may be appropriate. Relay messages to staff in a timely manner
Handle all shipping and/receiving responsibilities including FedEx, UPS, Messenger service and postage systems.
Redirect students to class and ensure that their needs are met.
Maintains student ID records.
Maintain student files for accuracy and organize/file as required by state law
Supplies and Equipment Maintenance
Assist the Operations Manager and Operations Associate process staff supply requests
Maintain a system to order, purchase, receive, inventory and return goods completed through purchase order in conjunction with Operations Associate
Maintain office equipment (i.e. ensure copiers are operational and fully stocked with toner, paper, etc.)
Support the Operations Manager with administrative tasks as directed
Process, produce, and distribute school-wide memos
Assist the Operations Manager in preparing the campus annually for start-up/new
Assist instructional team with distribution of progress reports, sub plans and copies.
2 years Administrative Experience
Bilingual Spanish a MUST
