Seeking a Full Time Medical Receptionist For a Busy OB/GYN office

Spanish Speaking Preferred-

Minimum one year experience in a Medical Office

Job Purpose - Responsible for operational effectiveness of all front office functions including, but not limited to, patient reception and registration, scheduling, greeting, and management of incoming phone calls.

Duties include, but are not limited to
?Oversees all front office tasks. Works closely with staff to ensure specific needs are met.
?Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, confirming purpose of visit.
?Ensure smooth flow of patients from reception to exam room
?Reports to work on time and as scheduled; completes work within designated time.
?Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures
?Exhibits a friendly, respectful and courteous manner when dealing with patients and visitors.

Language Skills
?Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
?Knowledge of outstanding customer service expectations.
?Knowledge of medical office reception and scheduling activities
?Working knowledge of computers and demonstrated proficiency in using e-mail systems, Internet and MS office software applications with emphasis in Word and Excel.
?Knowledge of medical terminology.
?Knowledge of HIPAA requirements.
?Ability to communicate appropriately and clearly to coworkers, providers, and Executive Director.
?Ability to be flexible, organized, and function under stressful situations.
?Possess the necessary tack to deal with people with professionalism and diplomacy
