LINCOLN's story (we have had 3 other puppies w/ heart murmurs that went up to Stage 3 & were one by 4 months...Lincoln's was at stage 4 about 5 weeks ago..and is stage 1-2 now..so we hope it completely goes away) He is eager to learn, was in training yesterday & did great!

About Lincoln
Lincoln is VERY energetic & needs some strict training..very food motivated. Has lived in his mommy's home for 4 months...time to get him adopted..we were being very careful as he had a stage 4 heart murmur...certainly this needs to be mentioned when adopted , to his new vet, but he has grown out of this problem...mostly gone ! which is typical for puppies !!!!! At 4 months, he weighs about 15 lbs !!
**************************back story......
We found the trio of beagles in the ice and snow and cold this winter. We suspected Lucy was going to have puppies... these little ones came into the world about 5-6 weeks later. We think the daddies are Bubba (adopted) and Lucky is still available for adoption and are doing great in a wonderful foster home, BUT they are moving, so new foster , if not adopted !)
On Easter Sunday (4/5/15) Lucy gave birth to 5 boys and 1 girl: Liam, Linus, Luther, Logan, Lincoln, and Lily.
Lincoln loves to wrestle but has very sweet calm moments.
Lincoln at 13 weeks...maybe 8 lbs.
We would love to find a new foster home for him if it is possible. Or a new forever family! :)
Lincoln is doing very well with potty training. He is also good on a leash. He loves to roll around in the grass and play with sticks and his toys. He has been very good with interacting with people in the neighborhood. Very friendly.
He is very playful and rambunctious and would probably do well in a family where he can get attention and continue the work to on his behavior. He is the biggest of the puppies so he is really strong too. He has a lot of energy and so far we haven't seen any symptoms of his ****heart condition.
..many puppies (all that have been in our rescue) grow out of the murmor. Only time will tell.
We would love to find a new foster home for him if it is possible. Or a new forever family! :)
