Construct, assemble, and rebuild machines such as CNC spinning machine and flow forming machines.
The main activities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine how to build assemblies.
Assembly of fabricated and purchased parts using drawings and parts list provided by engineering.
High complexity mechanical assembly that requires fitting, alignment and ability to assemble, dismantle and overhaul machinery and equipment, using hand and power tools. New machines (from Engineered drawings & retrofit equipment -- where they have to dismantle, determine the condition of the parts, fix/replace/update & then reassemble the machine.
Adjustment(s) to very close tolerances.
Mechanical alterations and additional during start-up and debug.
Working with Mechanical and Electrical engineers to make the machines work properly.
Perform various non-repetitive mechanical assembly using hand or power tools.
Build machines and sub-assemblies according to design requirement and customer specifications.
Fasten and install piping, fixtures or wiring and electrical components to form assemblies and subassemblies.
Lay out and drill, ream, tap and cut parts for assembly.
Position and align components for assembly, manually or using hoist or forklift.
Read and interpret assembly blueprints and specification manuals, and plan assembly or machine build accordingly.
Remove rough spots, and smooth surfaces to fit, trim, or clean parts, using hand and power tools.
Rework, repair or replace damaged parts or assemblies.
Set and verify parts clearances.
Verify conformance of parts to blueprints or drawings, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
Assemble gears by aligning and meshing gears.
Maintain and lubricate parts and components

Education and/or Experience:
10+ years of related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience with machine assembly,
Practical experience a plus, such as Auto Mechanic, Airplane Mechanic, Shop Maintenance of similar experience,
General machine shop skills including lathe, mill, grinding, and welding,
Experience with Hydraulics and pipefitting a plus,
Electrical engineer type experience a plus,
Forklift Experience required,
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and electrical schematics / wiring diagrams,
Must be able to read drawing in millimeters, and have an understanding of the metric system,
Have knowledge and can apply geometrical callouts,
Individual must possess exceptional communication skills, organization skills, and presentation skills,
Must be self-motivated, and a team player,
Must be a creative thinker, results oriented, focused, and attentive to detail and accuracy,
Must have ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines,
Individual must have ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
Ability to read, interpret general business periodicals, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Knowledge of the structure of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
