The Case Manager role is a mid-level position requiring 1+ year of experience working in a personal injury/claims setting. This person will provide support to the attorney including working with clients and providers to ensure all available insurance is triggered, making status calls to clients, independently developing and implementing a plan to request all file documentation, including medical records, wage records, and police reports.
- 1+ years of paralegal or case manager experience on personal injury claims.
-Solid understanding of usual insurance involved in an injury claim and ability to identify the insurers and trigger coverage.
-Experience gathering documentation for settlement demand preparation.
-Experience drafting settlement demand letters preferred, but not required.
-Strong proficiency with MS Word/Office and the ability to type at least 70 WPM.
-History reflecting good work ethic, reliability, and good attendance/punctuality.
-The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
-Ability to work well with others in a professional office setting.
- Assist the attorney in managing the file through initial set up to the time that the documentation is complete and the file is ready for a demand to be drafted.
-Independently manage the process of ordering, tracking, and logging receipt of demand documentation such as medical and wage records.
-Routinely contact clients for status updates on a set schedule.
