This person will be responsible for the administration and execution of shipping/receiving operations, US Mail operations, product inventory and re-order management, product order picking and packaging, product RMA (return material authorization) processing, inter-departmental mail, and related responsibilities.

Responsibilities: Process all company shipments, both domestic and international, including product shipments, via all approved carriers including US Postal Service, DHL, FedEx, Airborne, UPS, and other approved carriers.
Manage approved carriers to ensure their performance (with respect to cost, on-time delivery, and overall customer service) consistently meets company's requirements and expectations.
Maintain the company's product inventory in secured storage.
Coordinate product shipments with Finance and Sales organizations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Receive purchased goods using computerized receiving software to capture purchase order numbers, packing slip numbers, item quantities, and condition of goods received to ensure accounts payable is aware of receipt.
Manage US Postage meters and carrier expenditures to ensure unnecessary costs are not incurred.
Collect, apply postage, and mail outgoing company US Mail in an accurate, timely, and reliable manner.
Manage local courier deliveries/services as required to support company operations.
Inventory Management (purchase order creation, purchase order placement, purchase order receipt, product shipment and invoicing, monthly physical inventory counts and reconciliation)
3+ years of experience in a related inventory control position (International shipping experience a plus)
Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast paced environment
Demonstrated attention to detail
Strong customer service orientation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to interact effectively and professionally with others
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Assist in safeguarding the company's assets
Intermediate computer skills with ERP systems, Excel, and Word
Experience using shipping/receiving software a plus
