Administrative Support Person

Well established, environmental facilitation firm in the Pacific Northwest, is looking for a talented, detail-oriented individual with skills in office administration, website management and document production.

As our new Administrative Support Person, your responsibilities will be two-fold.

1) You will provide dedicated support to our facilitation and public involvement team, as needed. Your duties will involve a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, writing (note taking, meeting summaries, email correspondence, etc.); background research on a wide range of topics, meeting logistics, database management; website management; editing and producing high quality documents and presentations; scheduling; formatting; mass mailings and other general project tasks.

2) The balance of your duties will be as a member of our support staff providing backup support to the Executive Secretary. Responsibilities will include general office administration and filing; project file archiving and maintenance; proposal formatting and general document production; phone and vacation coverage. Skills: We need a professional, detail-oriented person who is adept at using Microsoft Office software including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access. Documents created in Word or PowerPoint should be well designed and easy to read. Knowledge of Access databases will be necessary for this position, including creating and editing databases, creating forms, tables, and queries as well as creating and running customized reports. Experience with WordPress is also a must, and experience with other website platforms is desired.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and experience in website maintenance, database entry and manipulation; document production; and/or executive assistance. Familiarity or experience with natural resource management issues, understanding of collaborative governance and/or environmental conflict resolution is highly desirable.
