To help support operations we seek to hire multiple Industrial Painters.
To apply for an Industrial Painter position you must meet the requirements listed in the duties summary and responsibility section below.
DUTIES SUMMARY :
Report to the Foreman.
Obtains proper supplies to perform the work according the project requirements.
Perform masking according to shop drawings.
Verify the surface preparation prior the coating application.
Painting the steel pieces according to COATING INSTRUCTIONS of the project
Mix the coating product with the recommended paint ratio and add the correct thinner. Get the right viscosity.
Adjust the pressure and chose the appropriate spraying equipment.
Control of the environmental parameter as required.
Execute the Wet Film Thickness (WFT) verification and other proper controls identified to the ROUTE SHEET, when applicable.
Follow and complete the ROUTE SHEET and call the inspector when an inspection point is identified.
Maintains the work spaces clean and safe. Set in order your work place after use.
Operates hoists, cranes and forklift, when required and ensure an adequate and proper handling.
When instructed, perform the corrections (touch-ups) and repairs.
Inform the Foreman of any problems, defects, corrections required, or non-conformities.
When authorized by the Foreman, prepare the DECLARATION OF COATING PRODUCT.
All other related tasks and duties.
Respect the project requirements and applicable standards.
Optimized resources used and minimize the paint losses.
Follow the coating application procedure and use the proper related forms.
Ensure that all customer-supplied products identification are maintain and protected during the production activities.
Ensure that we apply the coating "good practices" in a safe manner in accordance with the processes and procedures of the company.
Painters and Production Technicians work on one of two shifts:
DAY SHIFT: Monday-Thursday 6:00 am-3:15 pm, Friday 6:00 am-11:00 am
EVENING SHIFT: Monday-Thursday 3:15 pm-1:45 am
Compensation depends on experience ($16.00-$18.00/hour) and includes excellent benefits including health insurance, paid time off and a 401(k).
All full-time employees, working at least 30 hours per week, will be eligible for benefits on the 1st day of the month following 30 days of employment. ADF offers medical and dental (employer pays 100% of premium for employee and 75% of premium for dependents) and voluntary vision insurance. Employer provides Long Term Disability and Basic Life Insurance. Regular full-time employees are eligible to accrue Paid Time Off. New employees start accruing PTO immediately upon hire and are eligible to use PTO following completion of 30 days of employment. ADF International recognizes and is closed for 8 paid holidays during the year. ADF has established a 401 (k) plan to provide employees the potential for future financial security for retirement and provides matching funds after 6 months of employment. ADF will match 50% of the employee's contribution up to a max of 5%.
