We are seeking an Administrative Assistant whose work ethic and objective aligns with our goals to deliver the highest quality service, maximum efficiency and consistency. The Administrative Assistant provides daily administrative support to regional management and site management. Administrator corresponds regularly with applicants, employees, and management in person, via email and telephone. Responsible for managing employee records, conducting new hire orientations; supporting benefit enrollments; worker's compensation claims; background checks; employee discipline procedures; terminations; employment verifications; unemployment claims; time off requests; time keeping records, and generating various other documentation as needed. Maintains and safeguards confidential information. The position reports to the Regional Manager.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, minimum High School diploma required. Minimum 2 years of prior administrative experience required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar and editing skills. Ability to read and comprehend instruction, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Fluency in both English & Spanish is highly desired.
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and Internet & Google Interface.
Prior experience and knowledge of human resources/employment practices highly desired, excellent customer service skills, ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Requires strong ability to multi task, take own initiative, be a proactive problem solver, set priorities, organize work, and meet deadlines. Ability to work well under stress.
Compensation and Benefits:
$12-13/hour. Compensation commensurate with education and experience. The option to enroll in health benefits are offered to all full-time employees on the first of the month following 60+ days of employment.
