Midwood Smokehouse, a FS Food Group concept, will be opening in the Cross Hill Market, Columbia, SC, fall 2015! We are based out of Charlotte, NC and are very excited to introduce our brand to such a great city!
We are looking for talented Charleston, SC Executive Chefs that are looking to relocate to the Columbia, SC market . The ideal candidate is passionate, team-oriented, creative, organized and DETERMINED!
- managing/mentoring employees in a positive and accountable way
- maintaining and adhering to all recipes for consistency of execution
- maintaining high standards and ethical practices towards staff and menu execution
- develop and maintain an accountable and positive relationship with all vendors
- work as a team with all staff to include front of the house and back of the house employees and managers
- maintain and strive for budgeted food and labor costs
- 2-3 years of culinary management experience within a full service scratch made kitchen.
- Committed to food quality, recipe adherence and consistency
- Has the ability to put systems in place while ensuring consistent costs and maintaining a high quality menu
- Strong communication and organizational skills Proven ability to multi-task
- Responsible for hiring, training and developing the kitchen staff.
- Ability to create a team that will have leaders emerge and work well together.
- Must be able to reach, bend, balance and carry large objects within the kitchen and repeatedly throughout your shift.
