The Sales Development Manager will be a critical piece of the organization's evolution and growth. He/She will be responsible for both preparing the outreach/sales teams in the Lehigh Valley, York, Dauphin, Berks counties to promote Senior LIFE and enroll new members while, at the same time, connecting prospects with the extensive Home & Community Based Services (HCBS) available.
This hands-on professional will oversee a host of diverse duties including conducting, coordinating and implementing a comprehensive training program for Outreach staff and, overall, ensuring Senior LIFE delivers a cohesive, compelling message and subsequent brand experience in the marketplace.
Senior LIFE is committed to enhancing the ability of seniors to stay at home and live safely in the community as long as possible by coordinating comprehensive healthcare and supportive services for our members.
Senior LIFE is an innovative program that uses a team approach to provide with medical, social, nutritional and rehabilitation services. These services are provided at the Senior LIFE Center and are accompanied with in-home nursing care, personal care, and other homecare services as needed. Senior LIFE makes it possible for seniors to remain at home, enjoying the comfort and reassurance of familiar surroundings while receiving the care they need.
Senior LIFE is a Medicare Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) operating as a LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly) program in the state of Pennsylvania.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Educating/Training Outreach teams on all aspects of marketing and member enrollment for the LIFE programs
Developing comprehensive coaching plans for individual outreach including orientation, peer training and in-field/in-class initiatives
Working with the executive director and Interdisciplinary teams to increase census and assure that best practices, processes and procedures are followed in the marketing and enrollment of new members
Evaluating and tracking the effectiveness of sales training programs, and assist in the ongoing training and development of outreach/sales staff; troubleshoot as needed
Review outreach calendars to assure weekly benchmarks are being met.
Developing and nurturing strong relationships with local health care providers and organizations including aging services, social service organizations, public/private housing and development agencies as well as the local media to maximize Senior LIFE's penetration and communication in the community
Assisting with marketing oversight, public relations and branding development activities
Participating in strategic planning and development programs, as needed
This position requires versatility, creativity and a dynamic management style, with strong organizational skills. As this is a leadership role within Senior LIFE, the Sales Development Manager will be expected to have a proven track record of success overseeing diverse teams, plus the background and experience to both coordinate and motivate the outreach/sales divisions.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of management experience, relationship building skills, strong writing and speaking skills and, above all, a desire to help this underserved population. A bachelor's degree in marketing, PR, communications or business is preferred but not required. Travel required.
