Perform all tasks involved in the production of Finishing Plus' products through all phases of production. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Performs daily production work as assigned by Shop Supervisor.
Load and unload product to and from trailers to shop floor.
Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production.
Assist in the maintenance of blasting equipment.
Ensure that company goals are being met and production process is running efficiently.
Fill in when coworkers are absent; overtime may be required.
Ensure company guidelines are being followed.
Maintain a clean warehouse, worm room, lab, and facility as a whole.
Report any issues, concerns and/or needs to management.
Log and complete all necessary paperwork.
Perform additional duties as required.

If have painting/sandblasting experience:
Abrades surfaces of metal or hard-composition objects to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, and to impart specified finish, using abrasive-blasting equipment: Shovels or pours abrasives, such as sand, grit, or shot of specified grade into machine hopper.
Masks specified areas of object to protect from abrading action.
Loads parts on racks in enclosed rooms, into tumbling barrels, or into cabinets.
Turns valves on equipment to regulate pressure and composition of abrasive mixture flowing through nozzle or into tumbling barrel.
Starts equipment that directs blast or flow of abrasive-laden compressed air, gas, or liquid over surface of parts.
Manually directs nozzle over surface of large parts or inserts arms through glove-fitted cabinet openings and manipulates small parts under nozzle for specified interval.
Examines finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications.

Basic Qualifications:
High school education preferred
Previous experience in warehouse operations
- Knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials and techniques related to blasting/painting
- Ability to follow tasks safely and efficiently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
Ability to work with coworkers professionally and possess good communication and people skills
Capable of identifying problems before they occur and reporting them immediately
Ability to work a flexible schedule -- this may include work on a Saturday or Sunday or both, overtime work if needed, and holiday work as needed
