1965 Chevy C10, long bed, fleet side, small back window, V8
The only reason I'm selling my truck is I'm moving cross country and I can't take it with me. The truck runs and drives perfectly and needs nothing, you can buy it and start going to car shows immediately.
Small block Chevy V8.
350ci, it's always started right up every time I turn the key and has never given me any issues. I didn't build the engine so I don't know what it has for internals.
The engine has a 4bbl Holley carburetor and is backed by a three speed on the floor, and dual exhaust coming off of old skool rams head exhaust manifolds (I also have a nice set of headers that will come with the truck).
We replaced every bit of brakes in the truck.
Master cylinder, proportioning valve, all stainless brake lines, wheel cylinders, shoes, hardware, springs. Absolutely everything that makes this truck stop is new.
The wood in the bed was torn out and replaced with treated lumber, all new stainless hardware holds the bed down, and outdoor weather proof carpet was laid over top for a custom touch.
We did a little bit of body work to it, the truck had surprisingly little rust on it. Then the truck was painted hot rod black. A couple of years later we sanded some patina onto the truck to give it a bit of a rat rod look.
The interior was already done when I got the truck, it looks good and is in good condition.
This truck isn't a perfect shinny magazine cover truck, I wanted something I could spend more time driving than polishing. This is something you can take to a car show one day, and to the hardware store the next. It definitely turns heads everywhere it goes and draws attention at car shows.
This truck was pictured by OnAllCylinders.com a few years ago at Summit Racing's Truck Fest and has been modeled with on two separate occasions.
I DO have the hood for it, along with some ceramic coated tuned headers we never got around to installing (I like the old rams head manifolds on it), and a set of chrome rings for the wheels. There's probably some other stuff in the garage for it that will also go with the truck.
This truck is at a point where you could continue to drive it as is, or you could do a full restoration on it, or you could go further down the hot rod/ rat rod road. It is a solid running and driving classic vehicle waiting for you to make it your own.
$7,000 obo for the truck.
Prefer text or email. I can't answer phone calls while I'm at work, but leave a message and I'll get back to you.
Possibly interested in trades.
Trades must be in good shape and capable of pulling a trailer across the country, then be capable of being a daily driver.
I'm interested in trading it for a diesel truck, 3/4 ton or 1 ton. I prefer long bed, extended cab/ crew cab, and 4X4. Powerstroke or Cummins. Ford F-250 or F-350 or Dodge Ram 2500 or 3500
I also might be interested in:
A Ford Excursion or a Chevy Suburban.
A clean full size Ford Bronco
Possibly a F-150 with a long bed, extended cab/ crew cab, four by four
Possibly a motor home/ RV, not a pull behind/ trailer
Let me know what you have and please include pictures.
Willing to trade down with cash my way.
Again, trades must be in good shape and capable of pulling a trailer across the country, then be capable of being a daily driver.
That means NO CARS, and nothing that "just needs ________ fixed"
