Our company is growing quickly and needs staff that can hit the ground running. Prior experience in the auction industry is beneficial.
Provides descriptions for auction items and enter/maintain inventory in our in-house software program. Prepare sold auction items for shipping, organizing items in warehouse, general labor tasks.
Additional duties include writing up or assisting with the write up of items for auction catalogs, sales catalogs, website and other publications as directed. This includes, but is not limited to, detailing the grade, value, sturdiness, delicacy, context, rarity, and special considerations of all collectibles offered by the company through its auctions, sales and publications.
Must be able to work independently and efficiently. Computer skills and fast typing skills are essential. Organization of large quantities of items, data and information is critical.
Must be willing to cross-train to learn other skills during the auctions which are typically held on weekends.
