Rolling Meadows CPA Firm seeks Part-Time and Weekend Front Desk Receptionist/General Office Assistant who is seeking long term year-round employment. Applicant must be detail orientated, must be able to maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance, and must be able to work Saturdays and some Sundays. Applicant must maintain professional appearance and attractive, positive personality. Applicant must be team-oriented with ongoing desire to learn.
We are also seeking part-time week-days and seasonal part-time for tax season.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Greet and direct clients with a friendly and positive attitude
Serve as the office "gatekeeper", managing visitors with care and professionalism
Screen new client prospects and investigate contact info
Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate individuals
Ability to multi-task and handle several phone calls at once
Appointment requests and rescheduling
Update contact information for existing clients
Some Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable tasks
Daily upkeep of incoming mail/fax/emails
Data Entry of timesheets and expenses
Opening and maintaining client files
Perform miscellaneous clerical and administrative duties as assigned by staff as needed
Be willing and able to work with some flexibility, especially during busy tax season
On the job training provided.
Applicant should have experience and knowledge with Microsoft Office programs. Experience with Quickbooks is a plus.
