Full time Position:
6:30am - 2:00pm

As our Lead Cook, you have mastered the basics of cooking, can communicate with other kitchen staff and maintain a clean, organized work environment. We rely on your ability to keep up with the flow of business, follow set recipes and ensure that each food item prepared meets the standards of the company and government guidelines.

Duties include but are not limited to:

-Preparation of pizza, cold & hot sandwiches
-Slice vegetables
-Set up hot line
-Cook food needed for the day's lunch
-Serve 3 lunches
-Label food, clean, etc.

Responsible for the safe and timely execution of all food preparation within an assigned station
"Take Ownership" of the assigned station by taking primary responsibility for keeping the station and associated prep and storage areas up to company standards
Responsible for executing functions of the position to company operational standards outlined in the Operations Manual, as well as complying with standards outlined in the company's Serv-Safe, Safety, HACCP programs and the National School Lunch Program
Assist team members as needed and help serve lunch in a courteous and customer friendly manner
Adhere to company policies/procedures and safe work practices and guidelines

Meeting customer needs and taking steps to solve food or service issues
Working well with teammates and accepting coaching from management team
Having a clean and tidy appearance and work habits

Previous experience cooking
Must have the ability to work effectively as part of a team with strong customer service skills
Must be safety minded, dependable with reliable transportation
