Yamaha Snare Drum Kit for Beginners: $200.00
All in perfect condition, perfect for kids entering the school band program. Location: Red Hill Area
*The Yamaha Snare Drum : Delivers a powerful sound with its 6.5-inch, 6-ply maple shell. The drum comes with two types of snares; a stainless steel coiled wire snare (standard) and a stainless straight cable snare (supplied), and can be used with either. The stainless steel coiled wire snare offers a little long sustain and is well suited for classical, march, popular and other such styles. The straight cable snare has a clear sound and delivers excellent performance especially in halls that have long reverberation lengths or when playing intricate rhythms in an orchestral setting. Changing snares is quite easy so both should be tried.
* Yamaha SS850 Snare Drum Stand:
The basket tilter from the ever popular SS-740A snare drum stand has been fitted to the SS-850. This reduces weight, while retaining adjustability and durability. The new basket design also allows the stand to sit 1" lower than the previous model.
*Protection Racket cases:
You just zip your drums and go! Amazingly strong cases from Protection Racket, these cases include a thick fleece lining to keep your drums extra safe.
The outer cover is extremely strong and durable and the fleece inside makes sure your drums are kept safe at all times.
*Two pairs of drum sticks:
1.Rush Snakes & Arrows - Neil Peart Drum Sticks (Superb US pair of Japanese Shira Kashi White Oak 747 Neil Peart signature series wood tip drumsticks manufactured by Pro-Mark circa 2007. Like a 5A, but longer with a thicker taper and larger tip. Versatile. Use in quiet applications or when more volume is required. Heavier in weight than the hickory version. This pair of sticks feature Neil's facsimile autograph along with the usual makers logo and type information plus also features thesnake logoand 'Rush Snakes & Arrow' text all printed in red, this pair still come in their original manufactures card sleeve - great item for any fan!).
2.The Vic Firth SD1 General Concert Snare Drum Sticks are one of the most popular models ever made. of time while staying light in the hands. Their weight and design are sort of a 'jack of all trades' - effective for concert and drum set playing. Thousands of drummers grew up on these sticks. The round beads on these sticks are nice and articulate on a drum, and the weight is beefy enough to fully activate all of the overtones in your cymbals. They're made of strong maple wood that can handle rim shots for an extended period
