Position Summary: Startup Biotech company seeks a versatile candidate to assist primarily with functions in Accounting and secondary roles in Administration. The company is small but growing and provides the opportunity to perform and learn various aspects of a growing biotech company. Part-time initially (2 days per week, flexible on the days) with the potential for full-time hours in future as the company grows.

Main Responsibilities:

Accounting:
Prepares and performs various journal entries to maintain the corporation's account books (QuickBooks)
Prepares invoices for government contracts
Enters appropriate data into computer system on a daily basis to include accounts payable, deposits and necessary maintenance items.
Payroll Preparation

Administrative:
Calendaring and preparing board meetings
Organizing and updating company records

Other:
Operational activities related to facilities on an as needed basis
Human Resources projects on an as needed basis

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree Required.
Experience with Quickbooks and Excel highly desirable.
Experience with Grants desired but not required.

Pay range is $18.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on level of experience
