MSC is currently growing its M&A/Corporate Finance Division of our firm is currently seeking a Regional Director, which is essentially an outside sales rep, to join our Deal Origination Group. The position involves a variety of duties within the firm, from initially contacting clients to engaging new opportunities. You will operate within a protected home territory, where you will be responsible for meeting with potential clients in that designated area.
We offer full training and a benefits package for this role. This is 100% commission with no cap on your income. You will be expected to make a six figure income your first year.
The position is fast-paced, requiring organized, bright, and motivated individuals to join our dynamic team and to take on required responsibilities quickly. The position entails daily and direct contact with CEO's and CFO's of corporations to recommend a potential engagement.
Only those able to interact comfortably with CEO's, CFO's, and Controllers will be selected as this position has routine client interaction.
Outside Sales Directors are expected to:
Develop rapport with potential clients by meeting with prospects at the executive level, including CEOs and CFOs.
Discuss potential clients' future business plans as it relates to corporate finance and M&A.
Locate and develop business by identifying and interviewing potential clients.
Recommend new mergers & acquisitions targets and/or corporate finance opportunities for the firm.
Explain the benefits of a business relationship with our firm along with negotiating and concluding agreements.
The position requires:
5-10 years of experience in sales and/or financial markets
A firm understanding of financial statements
Strong communication and client interaction skills
Consultative sales experience
Problem solving skills
Ability to excel in a team based environment
Quick learning ability
Proven track record of business development/sales
