I'm a professor at a local university here in Denver that is looking for a smart, responsible, and independent undergraduate or graduate student to help me with a number of editing and organizational tasks over the next year. As an example of the type of work I need done, I have a bunch of books that I've read and written notes in the margins that I need typed up into word documents and organized by author and page number. In addition, I have papers that need to be converted from one citation style (e.g., Chicago) to another (e.g., APA). There are other organizational tasks, too, that we can discuss in person. I'm willing to pay between $12 and $15 per hour depending on your qualifications, skill level, and the amount of time I need to take out of my day to explain things. My background is in English, Philosophy, Communication and Rhetoric, so it would be ideal if you have training in one of these humanistic disciplines. If you're interested, please send me an email describing why you would be a good fit for the job and, ideally, provide me with a resume or CV. Thank you.
