Job Position: Senior Project Manager
General Contractor seeking experienced COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER to manage and/or assist with all aspects of commercial construction projects. As a Senior Project Manager you MUST have experience with $4,000,000- $8,000,000 Ground up retail construction and associated site work components. This individual must be a very dedicated professional leader who takes charge of their responsibilities, as well as go above and beyond to exceed goals and customer satisfaction. Qualified candidates are able to influence others, lead others and create a team-oriented environment. You must be able to manage multiple projects while being creative and innovative in challenging situations. As the Senior Project manager you will also be responsible and manage the smaller projects division. Duties include but are not limited to fulfilling all of the duties of a construction project such as field oversight and assistance, preparing estimates, purchase order preparation, pay applications, subcontractor agreements, sub contractor oversight, the entire construction draw process, scheduling, marketing, safety and security. Candidates will have a proven track record of success with measurable achievements. The ideal candidate is an experienced manager with the proven ability to lead personnel while overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
Job Responsibilities/ Requirements:
Negotiating contracts with subcontractors, owners, and suppliers.
Qualifying and contracting subcontractors to bid specific trade items
Project budget Management
Development and management of all project documentation
Monthly Reconciliation and reporting to Senior Management
Excellent Computer Skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, and other construction related software.
The Ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities
Strong analytical skills and ability to adapt to changing situations
Minimum of 3 YEARS of project management experience in commercial construction
Minimum of prior assistance to project management
Ability to read, understand, and explain architectural and engineering terms and drawings
Capable of completing material take-offs in providing a work scope with associated conceptual budgets, actual budgets, and contract documents in our specific templates
Capable of creating schedules, managing and overseeing the whole construction project from start to finish within the allocated time frame
Ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment and provide support when needed to train new personnel.
MUST have experience in Commercial Construction projects over $4 Million Dollars
Developing/tracking project budgets to include all costs for labor, materials, and subcontractors
