Daily customer contact over the phone - this includes order taking, providing quotes, offering technical advice and generally serving/selling existing consumer (business to consumer) customers.
Achieve daily activity metrics
o Maintain 100% coverage of phone queue of inbound calls from consumers (50-60 calls daily)
Execute daily inbound call handling from typically utility customers needing guidance on various product promotions or order placement from their utility provider on line store.
Provide support to existing outside sales force as needed
Build and maintain positive customer relationships
Communicate with shipping, purchasing and accounting on matters that relate to serving customers
Maintain the established standards for the minimum number of contacts and talk time per day
Maintain a database of customers through documentation of customer activity
Occasional travel and presence at trade shows and may require some weekend work
Perform other tasks as directed by management
Candidates should posses the following qualifications:
Excellent phone presence
Strong customer service skills
Strong communication skills
Upbeat, positive and friendly personality
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
A combination of one to two years prior experience in customer service or inbound call center telesales experience
Previous experience with CRM softwares such as Salesforce.com
Understanding of energy efficient construction products, systems and methods a plus
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
