Hey. I'm a multi-instrumentalist and producer from Albany, and I'm looking for a political, leftist rapper to work with on a heavy, noisy, industrial-influenced experimental hip hop project. I've got enough music for an album, all I need is a rapper to collaborate with and make this something huge and meaningful. The music itself is dynamic and gritty, with some songs being heavy and intense while others are quiet and slow-burning, almost dirges. I myself am into radical politics; I'd consider myself an anarchist and I'm working to get my degree in political economy and alternatives to capitalism. So I'd really like to work with someone on a similar page as me; someone who can take my already dynamic and experimental music and give words and meaning to it that bring the music to its full revolutionary potential. Musically, I'm influenced by Death Grips, Shabazz Palaces, Run the Jewels, Vince Staples, Saul Williams, Massive Attack, FKA twigs, Lotic, Nine Inch Nails, Savage Family, and a whole lotta others. If this sounds interesting to you, hit me up! I'm looking for a real collaborative arrangement, not just giving free beats to someone. This would hopefully be its own project past both of our solo work that would go on to do shows and make records. I have a home studio that works fine as a practice space. I'd prefer someone around my age (20's) but it doesn't matter to me too much.
