A local distribution company is experiencing growth and looking for a outside sales and new business development representative. This is a full time position with a competitive compensation package that includes benefits. The perfect candidate will have experience in industrial/manufacturing sales as well as the ability to establish and maintain long term relationships of trust, loyalty, professionalism, and mutual respect among all levels of manufacturing, construction, and distribution markets.
Requirements of this position will include but are not limited to:
? Well organized with the ability to set your own schedule.
? Prospecting for new customers through networking, internet search, canvasing territory, etc.
? A great importance will be placed on the ability to confidently and professionally cold call new prospects.
? Reporting of weekly sales activities to management.
? Computer skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel spreadsheets, Outlook, etc.
? Overnight travel required in order to achieve or exceed goals.
? Required to reside in assigned territory.
? Other requirements as necessary to achieve full territory potential.
? Minimum of 2 years outside sales and business development with a proven track record, Industrial Sales industry preferred.
? College degree desired but not necessary for the right candidate.
