Springboard Media is on the market for an amazing IT Support Professional. We are looking for someone who loves the idea of working with an outstanding team to support and delight our client base. Our team of onsite support professionals travel throughout the region, setting up Macs and networks, troubleshooting and upgrading systems, and offering support in person for some of our best business and education customers. Every day is an exciting and new challenge, and there is always an opportunity to learn and grow. To be considered for this position you will be required to have both customer service and technical skills. Applicants should have experience setting up both wired and wireless networks. Windows server and desktop support is a plus. A desire to learn about supporting Mac infrastructures is imperative.
Skills & Certifications:
-Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (ACTC) preferred.
-Experience with wireless networking in a business environment (Aerohive highly desired).
-Windows and Networking certifications (or equivalent experience) desirable.
-Casper Suite Certification preferred.
To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have the ability to:
-Discover new sales opportunities in existing client infrastructures. Perform assessments to help develop a complete solution for clients.
-Assess, design, deploy and support both wired and wireless networks.
-Attend client meeting with Sales to provide technical knowledge and sales support.
-Provide professional and courteous technical support via chat, email, and telephone to clients.
-Remotely troubleshoot and repair client issues using suite of support utilities.
-Visit Professional and Select clients to provide onsite support.
-When designated, lead Professional Service projects from conception to completion.
-Work with Sales and Project Manager to create project plan outlining scope, goals, timelines, deliverables, and required resources.
-Clearly communicate expectations to clients.
-Help department further refine and develop best practices, standard operating procedures, and IT policy.
-Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
-Assist in helping department meet and exceed monthly and yearly goals.
-Develop and cultivate long-term relationships with existing Springboard Media clients.
-Stay up-to-date on product knowledge.
-Manage and interpret client needs and pains.
-Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, Springboard Media-hosted and other networking events.
