We are seeking a System Administrator to join our team. You will have primary responsibility to design, implement and administer an advanced, high-performance virtual infrastructure running all the major Microsoft functions like Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint, Scale Out File Server, the System Center suite and much more.
We are in the exciting midst of a cutting-edge re-engineering of the entire business process that needs an advanced infrastructure behind it. You must have proven collaboration skills with both users and team members, a mutual-success attitude and an eagerness to master new technologies.
We're looking for these core skills:
Windows Server Operating Systems -- Windows 2008 to 2012 R2
Microsoft Desktop Platforms - Win 7 and forward
System Center suite (some combination of Configuration, Operations, Virtual Machine)
Hyper-V host cluster
Exchange 2010 DAG administration
Active Directory, User and Computers Management, Sites, Group Policy, Certificates
Internally motivated, strong sense of initiative, desire to seek out and accept new challenges
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills with attention to detail
Team player with good communication skills
Ability to handle competing demands for your time
The responsibilities of the position include:
Windows Server planning, deployment, monitoring, and administration
Configuration and use of the System Center suite
Configuration and administration of Hyper-V host clusters
Configuration and administration of SOFS clusters using SMB 3 on a 56Gbps fabric
Exchange DAG configuration and administration
Manage and maintain core services such as Active Directory
Handle escalated IT support issues
Lead the roll out of new tools and processes
4-year technical degree, such as engineering or information sciences, or an equivalent combination of course work and experience
At least 5 years of directly applicable experience that demonstrates the technical and general skills outlined above.
