Pacific Nutritional Foods, Inc. is a major tofu manufacturing company located in Tualatin, OR. Currently, we have an opening in our Maintenance Department on the Swing shift.

Must have basic experience working w/manufacturing equipment and sufficient knowledge to properly maintain/troubleshoot repairs, installs, & breakdowns. Must also be able to troubleshoot basic gearboxes, rebuilds and lubrication. Welding experience a plus.

Food processing industry experience is highly desirable. Must be able to work w/min supervision, able to work flexible schedule, multi-task, achieve goals. Pre-employment drug screen required. We offer competitive benefits & salary.


Maintain plant sanitation and personal hygiene by adhering to the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) as outlined for food processing facilities in CFR (Title 21, part 110).

Support the preventive maintenance program to ensure good production efficiencies and quality.

Check all mechanical components prior to installation to prevent damage. Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.

a. Lubricate and clean parts and equipment.

b. Observe and troubleshoot mechanical devices in operation.

c. Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.

d. Start devices to test their performance.

Communicate clearly and effectively to others regarding process steps and importance of following the process.

a.Clearly understand the rationale for why certain steps are taken in a variety of procedures.

b.Stay up-to-date on processes and functions, and machine operation.

1.Must have basic knowledge of mechanical systems and interactions, all related area machines, equipment and hand tools.
2.A minimum of 2 years in the Food Processing Industry strongly desired.
3.Must be a self-starter, and detail oriented.
4.Must be able to drive a forklift, or able to be trained to drive a forklift.

5.Must be able to read, write, and speak English to properly understand and relay important safety information.

6.Must be able to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).

7.Must work well with others to establish and maintain an excellent team atmosphere.

8.Must readily accept and act on instruction from management and supervisors.

9.Must be dependable and have a flexible schedule.


One year certificate from college or technical school desirable, or experience in manufacturing.
