Fast growing company is looking for a Warehouse Manager -FULL TIME.
The warehouse manager is responsible for the overall direction of warehouse activities including order processing, shipping, receiving, and overall finished goods and component inventory.
?Create and support a safe, sanitary and positive work environment.
?Responsible for providing accurate, organized and timely record keeping of required documentation.
?Directly responsible for understanding and directing personnel in the execution of inbound/outbound shipping of materials, preparation of bills of lading, labeling and other associated operational transactions to meet customer requirements.
?Directly responsible for the accurate and timely receiving and distribution of raw/component and on-time shipments of finished materials. Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions response of complaints shorts/over/under shipments. Initiate freight claims as required.
?Performing inventory control systems, troubleshooting of inventory discrepancies, variance tracking and reporting, cycle counting, return to vendor, while insuring minimum loss of products. Improving work processes, ordering and purchasing MRO items.
?Work closely with Customer Service to prepare daily receiving/shipping schedules/reports
?Implementing Bar Coding / Radio Frequency Systems / ERP Solutions Manage 3PL inventories/ Multi site / Negotiate 3PL Freight rates
?Responsible for the communication, implementation, and enforcement of policies and procedures.
?Maintain current and accurate time-keeping records for all employees, as well as conduct warehouse inspections and follow-up on noted deficiencies.
?Responsible for training and development of all positions within the warehouse staff. Conduct regular meetings to identify and/or resolve operational issues and/or concerns.
?Responsible for conducting timely performance evaluations of subordinate personnel.
?Overseeing, monitoring and implementing regulatory, OSHA, safety, and cGMP requirements
?Establishing / implementing basic KPI measures
?Internal audits controls
?Process improvement to increase reliability, productivity and meet or exceed goals
?Budgeting and tracking expenses and costs as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate a team
Outstanding training, leadership and communication skills
Manage WMS in the planning, scheduling and delivery of on-time shipments to customers
Experience and knowledge of ERP and client routing systems
Experienced in WMS (Warehouse Management System) implementation a plus
Experience in managing 3rd party logistics warehouses a plus
Working in a Lean Manufacturing environment
Strong computer experience (Outlook, Excel, Word
Excellent Analytical skills
Ability to interact with all levels of management and all departments
Knowledge of international shipping regulations
Education and Experience:
?Bachelor Degree preferred
?Minimum 5 years warehouse / distribution management
Lifting / carrying (up to 50lbs)
Continuous stooping, bending, kneeling and squatting
Walking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time
Climbing, balancing (step stools, ladders)
Occasional repetitive motions (warehouse and assembly depts. as needed)

Low to moderate noise levels (office environment)

Moderate to high heat conditions during the summer months (warehouse is not temperature regulated)

Work with or near moving mechanical parts and equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, ink jet machine)
