Quality Control Inspector

We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate practical bench inspection skills, diligent with documentation, familiar and work with ISO 9001:2008, J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610.

Responsibilities of this position include the following:

Perform First Article and In-Process Inspection to assure production conformity Perform inspection per ISO 9001:2008, J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 requirements and customer requirements Review and interpret prints/drawing; including interpreting and understand Dimensioning & Tolerance requirements Assist Quality Department with in-process inspection and monitoring Complete necessary documentation of results Report acceptance/rejection information directly to the Manager Assist Quality Department and MRB with inspection of customer rejected products Perform raw material and outside processing receiving inspection.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications/requirements:

Minimum of 3 years performing quality inspections Proficient in understanding and interpreting requirements on print/drawing Practical bench inspection experience Proficient in using general shop instruments, e.g. caliper, micrometer, height gage and dial indicator, surface plates, magnifying lamps Understand ESD and FOD requirements Detail oriented and effective organization skills Strong communication skills Work well with team dynamics Able to work independently and accomplish day-to-day activities and fulfill delegated responsibilities Possess general computer skills Fluent and able to write in English High School Diploma or GED Certificate Special Requirement: This position may require you to submit to and pass a drug test and/or background check. Additionally, employment offering is contingent to the following ITAR requirements:
o Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as define by Section 8 U.S.C 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain required authorizations and licenses from the U.S.
Department of State.

Preferred skills
2-3 years working for the aerospace industry Knowledge and familiarity with ISO 9001:2008, J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, ESD, FOD requirements B.S. or Associate Degree in a technical discipline
