Our fast-paced and fast-growing law firm is focused on helping our clients and their families protect what is most important to them. Our work falls primarily in the areas of business transition planning and estate and trust planning and administration. We are seeking an administrative professional to help us with our client communications, including coordinating in-person meetings, telephone calls, and written communications.
Our ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be adept at the art of "eating an elephant one bite at a time," show great attention to detail, have a passion for learning new skills, be a team player, demonstrate honesty, and maintain client and office confidentiality at all times.
Our ideal candidate will confidently present a warm, inviting, professional and courteous persona while juggling a multi-line telephone system, greeting incoming visitors, and timely completing various assigned administrative tasks. A successful candidate must be punctual and dependable, independently complete large projects despite interruptions, and will have excellent customer service skills and a ridiculous, (almost sickening) work ethic. Mature, positive, and energetic demeanor are required for this position.
This employee must maintain a professional and conservative appearance at all times (e.g., there is no "casual Friday").
Education and Experience:
Mastery of Windows based systems including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and general data entry skills;
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
Prior administrative experience is a plus;
Some college in addition to work and life experience is a plus;
Must be a self-starter energized by our fast pace environment; and
Demonstrable experience flourishing in a sea of tight schedules and deadlines
Report to: Legal Secretary / Supervising Attorney
Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week), 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday-Friday
Wages / Benefits: Hourly wage commensurate with your experience and overall awesomeness. Health insurance is not offered; however, paid holidays, vacation and discretionary bonus plan are among the benefits included, following a 90-day probationary period.
If you read through this summary and are excited to learn more about becoming a part of our team, please send your resume along with a cover letter that describes in detail why this job appeals to you, at least three examples of how you have successfully "eaten an elephant one bite at a time," when you could begin, previous employer references, and your requested pay rate to the email address listed on this page.
If selected to proceed, we will provide you with a more detailed description of the proposed duties. All applicants must submit to a background check and skills and DISC personality assessments as a precondition to any offer of employment.
