Talent Acquisition Specialist
Looking for a highly technical and social media savvy individual who will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and hiring of talent to fill the organizational needs. This will require performing end-to-end recruiting/position management and maintaining excellent working relationships with both internal and external clients. This individual will work closely with hiring managers to identify department needs, develop job specification, supervise the interview process and work with external sources to post position, screen resumes and select appropriate candidate that fits the job specs. Once an individual is selected, work with this candidate through hire to orientation.
This individual maximize capabilities of Applicant Tracking System, build processes and will be responsible for handling the organization's Affirmative Action plan, including developing the plan in conjunction with our external contractor, setting goals, completing annual filings and communication to the organization. Lastly, this individual will also work closely with the Talent Development Specialist in developing and implementing innovative sourcing strategies to develop, expand and manage active and passive talent pools for mission critical positions.
Bachelor's 4 year degree
Minimum of 2 years recruiting experience
Must be willing and able to travel 5% of the time
Strong aptitude with technology and possess exceptional computer skills in the MS Office Suite (strong Excel a must) -- is a "techie
Ability to work independently while using judgment in deciding when to take action or when to ask for direction
Demonstrate sophisticated communication style to meet the needs of internal and external candidates as well as senior hiring teams
Proactive and resourceful approach to resolving issues or unfamiliar situations
Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
