General Manager - Truck Stop

Results are accomplished through building a high performing team of managers and team members and through the use of THE KENT COMPANIES philosophies, systems and practices. Success is measured through key business metrics related to sales and profitability, team member and GUEST satisfaction, quality and standards, and assets protection.
Minimum Requirements:
3 Years Minimum Experience in a High Volume / High Traffic Travel Center Experience or Big Box Retailers.
Sales Growth and Profitability
Analyzes, adjusts, and evaluates sales and financial information for use in growing and measuring the business
Identifies and shares opportunities, and implements plans related to increasing sales and profitability.
Conducts research and shares information about local competition, as requested.
Plans for and manages operating expenses to achieve budget, ensure quality operations, and the protection of assets.
Plans for and manages the labor investment to deliver an exceptional customer experience, profitability, through selection, training, performance management, and scheduling
Ensures product mix and inventory levels are properly maintained to grow sales and maximize profitability
Plans for and executes training to prepare TEAM MEMBERS for delivering results
Coaches and counsels TEAM MEMBERS to achieve results
Uses performance management system to increase capability and responsibility
Supports TEAM MEMBERS in their development; promotes career advancement
Models leadership behaviors that support our values; uses effective and consistent management practices
