class id: 1260-CF15A
Introduction to Computers and Microsoft Office
Still haven't figure out these computer things? This six week course is designed to introduce you to the basics of computers and Microsoft's suite of software. We will look at the general operation of computers and then examine, using Microsoft Office, the basics of word processing, spreadsheets. and presentation software. Microsoft Office is still the benchmark to which productivity software is compared, and the ability to use the programs is an important skill to possess.
Note: This class takes place in a computer lab. Students may bring their own computer, but it must contain Microsoft Office Suite 10. If you do not have that version, it's recommended to use the computers available in the lab.
The course begins on September 9th at 6 pm and meets once a week. The cost for the six sessions is $50.
