KSS Enterprises has an opportunity for a motivated Delivery Driver. You must have a chauffer's license and experience driving a box truck, working in distribution and small package delivery. You must have success efficiently completing 20-50 stops daily. You should be hard working, flexible, problem solver, and have strong customer service skills. Hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00AM-4:00PM/5:00PM.

SCOPE: Professional delivery position delivering to KSS customers; Assistance in the warehouse with preparation of orders, maintenance and inventory control.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Professional daily delivery of product to customer base in the greater Petoskey area.

Wear KSS uniform at all times; adhere to safety shoe policy

Non-driving time spent assisting in the warehouse with preparing orders; loading and unloading freight; stock of product; rotation of product; assisting with walk-in trade with filling orders; warehouse and building maintenance.

Assist with inventory control as needed.

Follow all procedures and policies; consistently keep safety in focus on all tasks.

Look for ways to improve efficiencies and cost savings; share with manager.

Learn to assemble, test and load/unload equipment/machines.

Learn and become proficient with the computer software programs utilized at KSS.

Embrace and promote the KSS Core Values, Vision, and Mission.

Attend, participate and arrive on time to meetings when scheduled; be ready to work at your scheduled start time.

Keep KSS business related issues confidential to KSS.

Responsible for timely responses and utilization of the communication tools available, such as voice mail, e-mail, etc. (as they apply).

Miscellaneous assigned tasks and projects.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Chauffeurs License, Forklift Certification, Valid Medical Card at all times, Valid driver's license and good driving record at all times.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to stand and sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance as needed. Push and pull from 10-400 pounds, and operate auto scrubbers, vacuums, wet/dry vacs, extractors, sweepers, floor machines, and other janitorial cleaning equipment. (Approximate weight from 10 to 1000 pounds). May need to occasionally use ramp and push or pull automatic scrubbers or other equipment up the ramp, with assistance by other personnel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Data entry and windows applications.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED: Forklift, safety belt available, dollies, platform truck, pull chains and other equipment associated with truck driving, magna van driving and delivery needs. Possible use of power tools such as drills and screwdrivers and other hand tools. Possible handling of batteries, chargers, motors, etc.
