Turbo the Flying Dog Hosts Kids for an Afternoon of Reading at Frederick County Animal Control

Kids and parents are invited to join the stars of the Turbo the Flying Dog book series for a day of reading and rescue at Frederick County Animal Control. Children are invited to practice their reading skills with Turbo and Olive, two friendly and gentle pups. Authors Kelly Kennedy and Victoria Zajko will be on site to talk about their experiences with animal rescue, including Turbo's adoption and first experience flying in a plane!

After reading, parents can accompany their children to view the dogs and cats available for adoption. Animal Control staff will be on hand to discuss adoptions with interested families.
