Floating Leasing Consultant
The Floating Leasing Consultant is primarily responsible for leasing apartment homes, responding to telephone and e-mail inquiries, scheduling appointments, greeting prospects, completing guest cards, showing apartments and amenity areas to all prospects, typing work orders, helping current residents, closing the sale and completing all required lease paperwork. The Leasing Consultant position does require excellent organizational and customer service skills. Qualified individuals must have demonstrated the ability to successfully work with people and demonstrated aptitude for sales and customer service. This position also plays an integral role in resident retention through participation in resident activities, renewal preparation and follow-up and resident needs assessments.
This position will be based out of Baton Rouge but will require travel as needed to apartment communities. This position is not confined to one specific apartment community so there may be times when travel is required for short to intermediate periods of time that could include working outside of Louisiana.
Other duties as assigned.
-High School diploma or GED required
-Sales and Customer Service experience required
-Effective communication and organizational skills
-Computer proficient, One Site experience preferred
-Valid driver's license and transportation required
-Knowledge of Onesite, Yieldstar programs a plus
