MedSpan Health of New York has entered Sporting Events market by Providing Medical and Water Rescue for Obstacle Course Races being held across the Country.

We will be covering the WipeOut Run (Formerly ROC Race) on August 22, 2014 at The Cal Expo Center in Sacramento, CA

Currently we are the Staffing for the following Positions.

Medical (Multiple Positions Available) Pay is $100- These individuals must be Licensed accordingly with the State of California or the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians as FF/First Responders, EMTs, Paramedics, and/or RNs. Duties will include but not limited to Wound care, Splinting, and other First Aid of Race Participants and Guests.

Lifeguards/ Swift Water Rescue Techs (Multiple Positions Available) Pay is $100 for the day- These individuals must be at least 18 years old with a Valid Lifeguard Certificate or Training Certificate from an Accredited Fire Department/Agency for Swift Water Rescue course. Lifeguards and/or Swift Water Rescue Techs will be providing Coverage at the Obstacles. Water Obstacles will consist of Shallow Water. Crews will be provided Radios, First Aid Medical Bag, Rescue Tube and/or Throw Ropes.

Obstacle Motivators(Few Slots Remaining) Pay is $100 for the day- These individuals Primary role is to Oversee the Obstacle, Work as a Team with High School and College Students, Encourage and Cheer the Participants, and Notify The Medical Team of any injuries that may occur via Hand held Radios. This position is Perfect for the College Student and this involves being Active and Motivating. Most Importantly a Great Smile with Outstanding Customer Service(NO Certifications or Licenses Needed/Required for this Position)

Parking in a Designated Lot along with Lunch will be Provided at No Cost to you.

Hiring will be done "On the Spot" via Telephone.

Current Lifeguard Certificate/License from an Accredited Agency
Current CPR from an Accredited Agency
Minimum of 1 year of Verifiable Water Rescue Experience
