Now hiring for 1st shift production position in Dalton, GA.

7pm- 7am Monday through Thursday
Sometimes will work Fridays and Saturdays for overtime
Need to be flexible on hours
6 month contract (to be extended by performance)

30% Monitor all critical operating parameters and make adjustments to the process as necessary
30% Follow Batch instructions and procedures.
30% Safely handle (loading and unloading of bulk trucks, totes and drums) hazardous chemicals Caustic soda, Sodium Metal bisulfite, Bis-A Resin, Epichlorohydrin,Solvents
10 % Follow safe operating procedures and review and offer updates as necessary

The people that hold this position will work as a Operator C, Reactor Operator, in the Dalton facility and will be responsible for operating batch chemical reactors, vacuum systems, filtration systems, and will oversee the loading and unloading of bulk trucks and railcars. The Operator will work closely with the Area Supervisor and will be capable of being trained to fulfill a variety of job roles within the operations of the facility. Key attributes of the successful candidate are a strong commitment to the customer, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) excellence and quality production. The plant consists of Automated and Manual batch reactors. Operator will be required to work on a rotating shift basis. Because of the potential exposure to chemicals, PPE will be required including respirators, chemical resistant clothing, eye protection including goggles and safety glasses. The plant is also set up with tanks and equipment outside, so this position will spend time in all different types of weather.

Required:
High School diploma or equivalent.
3 years' experience in manufacturing environment
Familiarity with Batch process
Ability to climb stairs and ladders multiple times per shift
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lb. bags or hoses
Experience in a batch chemical operation
