Mental Health Program Manager III

Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare ( is a major nonprofit provider of behavioral health services in the state of Oregon. Cascadia is a Recovery-oriented, trauma-informed service provider for persons with serious mental illnesses and addictions. This position requires a QMHP credential (Qualified Mental Health Professional-Master's Degree in a behavioral health field) with a minimum of 2 years' experience in mental health that includes experience in providing clinical supervision and/or leadership experience. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills are required with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

The Program Manager III is responsible for overseeing and maintaining day to day mental health service operations of a Secure Residential Treatment Facility, located in Springfield, while supporting a Trauma Informed Care environment. With the high prevalence of trauma among individuals receiving mental health services, it is required the Program Manager III understand the effects of trauma on health, coping, and other aspects of the lives of those we serve. This position has a leadership role in inter-agency program development and oversight. The Program Manager III explores, evaluates and cultivates program development using researched based, best practices or evidence-based models of care in specialized residential services settings. This position also involves working closely with the Gateway Living residential Administrator, RN and residential care staff in order to support collaborative communication, team work, and continuity of treatment for the individuals in residence. .
