The UW Marshfield Agricultural Research Station has a position open to clean, bed, handle, and observe animals in the dairy heifer and lactating cow research operation. This position will milk a herd of 128 cows and take care of dairy calves. Duties also include care, feeding, and cleaning pens of dairy heifers. This position will assist in observation and treatment of cattle to aid the herd health program.
UW MARS is in need of filling a 4:30 am to 1:00 pm shift with some responsibilities between the hours of 11:00 am and 7:30 pm. Position will be scheduled to work every other weekend. Some holiday work may be required to meet the operation needs of the facility.
