Seeking an Operations Assistant to work in a large financial institution in downtown Honolulu!Position Summary: This position will be responsible for creating daily packet, preparing and uploading GL entries, GL reconcilation monthly and daily, and assisting with internal inquiries and correspondence.Will also be responsible for other general clerical responsibilities as needed or assigned.Position Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance or a minimum of 2 years' experience in the financial industry. Proficient knowledge in GLS and has the ability to analyze/research intermediate accounting issues and errors. Excellent communication (written, verb and interpersonal) skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Detail oriented and highly organized to be able to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines. Must be able to prioritize work. Must be able to analyze a situation and determine a solution. Proficient use of the PC and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.Location: Honolulu, no parking provided.Schedule: Monday -- Friday, 7:00a-3:30pm.
