Experienced mental health therapist to work with victimized, emotionally disturbed and/or behavior disordered children and families. The person filling this position will be skilled in assessment, individual, family and group therapy, case management and consultation. The successful candidate may work in a rural or urban community, partnering with formal and informal community resources, providing clinic and school based mental health services.Previous training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy is preferred.
Must be willing to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and follow documentation requirements in accordance with the Oregon Administrative Rules and department policies and procedures. Valid driver's license and ability to pass a Criminal History check.
MHS I: Requires successful completion of a master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling orrelated field. Post Master's Degree supervised experience in a similar position is desirable but not
MHS II:Four years post Master's Degree supervised experience in a similar position is required, as well as Oregon professional licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT).
