Right now, we're looking for a Security Specialist II.
The Security Specialist II will be responsible for managing disaster recovery across all enterprise computing platforms and responsible for all enterprise disaster recovery including: computing infrastructure, operational and application readiness, maintenance of a disaster recovery plan, scheduling and executing disaster recovery tests and tabletop exercises. This position is responsible for driving and providing leadership to the business and technical teams by maintaining and executing the disaster recovery presence within Safelite.
Analyze and establish a comprehensive understanding of IT environment and assess disaster recovery/ high availability gaps across all computing platforms, processes and applications
Partner with technology teams to create and develop recovery plans to eliminate and reduce identified gaps
Maintain and update as needed a detailed recovery plan that integrates the master business continuity plan
Establish and maintain a good relationship and engagement with vendors
Continuously work with subject matter experts to document and develop disaster recovery plans and processes
Communicate status updates, recovery gaps and other IT issues to leadership
Point of contact during disaster recovery events; responsible for providing leadership and direction
Responsible for providing input during the annual budget process
Provide documentation, training and awareness to the Safelite business and technical teams addressing disaster recovery roles, action and responsibilities
Responsible for cross training other members of IT team
Other identified tasks as directed by the Information Security Director
RequirementsKnowledge of: All aspects of Disaster Recovery including planning, testing, awareness, training, executing, and how it fits into Business Continuity; IT architecture and design concepts; Leadership practices; human resource practices; safety requirements and procedures; standard office practices; software development lifecycle; project management; advanced systems administration practices and principles; planning, design, and problem resolution; Belron US operating systems and how they function and interrelate; and Belron US business practices, policies, and procedures.

Skill in: High attention to detail and being organized; Achieving results; independently planning and assigning team tasks and follow up; applying and teaching others well established IT techniques and practices; effective presentation and interaction, listening, written and verbal communication, relating principles to facts, analysis and research, making and writing decisions, mediation, operating a personal computer.
Education: Bachelor's degree in IT or related field required. Preferred: Certification by Disaster Recovery International (DRI).
Experience: 5+ years of experience within IT having performed a broad level of functions including: disaster recovery, infrastructure planning, technology installation, customization, and support, vendor management, and technology architecture. Strong leadership skills and an ability to work in a cross functional environment.
